EVENT: Windsor's Festival Epicure Replacement -- Fork and Cork

In what seems like a yearly ritual, Festival Epicure seems to have been cancelled once again. This time, I don't think there will be any last minute sponsorships to save one of my favourite summer festivals. The Good News? A new group is set to run their own festival and dubbing it Fork and Cork.
Word is that Windsor's Fork and Cork festival will be a free-entry, all ages community event that is being put on by Protender Inc. , the same group that hosts Beaverfest.
The event is set to take place on the same weekend which was previously reserved for Festival Epicure, July 6th, 7th, and 8th 2012.
Get those appetites ready Windsor, for what I am sure will be an amazing event.

My Toronto trip continued.
Another place Adam wanted to bring me was Come and Get It! He seemed to have a sense of urgency to bring me there and then explained why. Come and Get It! is a pop-up or temporary restaurant that fills an empty shop for a short amount of time. Interiors often kept simple so as to make the imminent move out simple. Even the utensils and packaging are all compostable so this place truly leaves NOTHING behind.
