My Toronto trip continued.

Another place Adam wanted to bring me was Come and Get It! He seemed to have a sense of urgency to bring me there and then explained why. Come and Get It! is a pop-up or temporary restaurant that fills an empty shop for a short amount of time. Interiors often kept simple so as to make the imminent move out simple. Even the utensils and packaging are all compostable so this place truly leaves NOTHING behind.

Found right around the corner from Banh Mi Boys, Come and Get It! is a cool place. I nearly walked right past it because from the exterior it looks like a worn out building attacked by graffiti artists. Little did I know the graffiti was part of the theme :s
MENU

When it comes to ordering this place is simple. You eater get a poutine ($7), a sandwich ($8), or a salad ($9). Your toppings include either Granny Smith's Chicken Caesar, Herbed Crunch Beans, Hawaiian Pork Belly, or Chipotle Short Rib.

I went with the Hawaiian Pork Belly on a salad and it was tasty. The lettuce was so crisp and fresh, and the dressing was the perfect amount of sweet. The pork was tasty as well with the right amount of crispy.

I recommend checking out this place while it is still open, if you are reading this blog and unable to find the place. Sadly, I'm sure a condo will probably be found in its place.
